WWI British Field Nurse Flag & Ephemera Grouping – Item 98379

Interesting WWI field nurse grouping, awarded to Miss Dorothy Kayll. Consisting of Red Cross flag as flown at field hospitals at the front. Her original certificate of application for war service as a member of the VAD as a nurse in the facial injuries hospital. A scrap book compiled by her consisting of newspaper cuttings and poems relating to life at war dated September 1917. Various letters sent from the front etc. Photographs of her in her uniform with wounded soldiers. Her 1916 dated Army Medical Service arm band mounted with various service badges. Various other documents from her service. A Magnificent grouping of a dedicated nurse worthy of further research.
