Interesting tin and brass US Civil War Commemorative medal for Strasbourg VA. Complete with red, white and blue silk ribbon and fixing pin for attachment to jacket. Good condition for age.

Note:  The “Battle of Strasbourg” during the US Civil War refers to a few different engagements in and around Strasburg, Virginia. The most significant is the Battle of Fisher’s Hill, where Union forces under Philip Sheridan decisively defeated Jubal Early’s Confederate army
