Third Reich SS Handschar Fez – Item 101591

Rare Third Reich SS Other Ranks Handschar division Fez.  Comes complete with its original machine stitched bevo insignia. Mountain edelweiss metal badge to side. These red Fez were worn for the dress uniform and worn by Muslim members of this SS Division. This unit was a mountain division and this particular fez has the edelweiss insignia to the left. Some minor mothing to felt and one side with larger rat bite.  Complete with tassel and original ersatz sweatband and size marked 58.  A scarce and seldom found Fez seldom found to this unique foreign volunteer unit. Condition reflected in price.
