Third Reich Olympic Games Commemorative medal. Instituted on 31.7.1936 . Nice example compete with original ribbon. Some fading where removed from display frame. Medal remains in excellent condition. This medal could be awarded to foreigners as well as Germans and were often given to Embassy staff and press correspondents covering the games. A total of 54,915 were given out.
