Third Reich NSBO Standarte for Frankfurt-Eckenheim, good untouched example of a full size banner for the NSBO (Nationalsozialistische Betriebszellenorganisation) workers organisation in the area of Frankfurt-Eckenheim. The double sided swastika flag has black panels to the corner of both side with chain stitched details “Ffm Eckenheim“ on black cloth. Flag is complete with its bullion fringe wire to three sides and the original plated hanging rings. Some staining to the central section and general wear which is expected. Measures 140 x 111cms. The NSBO organisation was a labour and workers union under the control of the NSDAP. This would be responsible for the care of factories and the workers inside these factories. Many of these factories were very important part of the German war machine and as such were heavily targeted by allied bombing raids, this is a reason for flags relating to this organisation to be scarce and harder to find than examples from the DAF and other labour organisations.
