Third Reich Nickel Mounted Unit Marked Luftwaffe Dagger – Item 107145

Third Reich  early nickel mounted Unit Marked Luftwaffe 1st Pattern Officers Dress Dagger by SMF, Solingen. Pommel with mobile swastika to both sides, cross guard also with mobile swastikas to the centre. Blue leather covered grip with the original wire binding. Underside of the cross guard is unit engraved ‘Fl Gr (ZA) Rotenburg’. Complete with original blue leather covered scabbard with nickel silver fittings. Complete with the original hanging chains with clip fitting. Double edged blade marked SMF Solingen  to the base and Luftwaffe acceptance stamp. Good condition and a nice example of this lst model dagger.
