Interesting blue/grey finish Luftwaffe bomber pilots Flak helmet to be worn over flying helmet. Standard German helmet shell with sides beaten out to take earphones. Complete with leather harness chin strap. front painted with diving eagle to front clutching bomb. Leather three pad liner. Used for extra protection against shrapnel when flying missions. An unusual field made conversion helmet.
