Third Reich Luftwaffe Observers Lightweight Award – Item 96818

Scarce variation Luftwaffe Observers late war qualification badge by GWL. An interesting example produced in lightweight aluminium. Produced this way due to shortages at the end of the war of various metals. Comes complete with its correct pattern pin an hook. GWL maker marked.  Good condition. A scarce, unusual and seldom found variation.

Note: the only other badges produced in this lightweight alli at the end of the war was the Army Paratroopers badge and pilots badge.
