Third Reich German/American Bund Publications – Item 116232

Interesting pre War produced German/American Bund publications for a Rally which took place in Eastern New York on 30.10.1937.  Shows American/German bund member clutching stars and stripes flag with swastika below. Plus another publication dated 1938 for the American Bund giving details of the Leaders etc. Unfortunately this magazine has rat damage to some pages. The German/American Bund was an organisation set up in the 1930s in the US for German nationals who had moved to the USA and still kept their roots with Nazi Germany. There was a large membership of Americans as well from 36-41 but this organisation was closed down when the USA entered the war against Germany. Very few items remain from this organisation a most were destroyed post war.
