Scarce and seldom found German Army Other Ranks side cap. As issued to Russian volunteers in the German Army. Standard German army wool side cap with bevo eagle and swastika. Green Panzer Grenadier waffenfarbe and Russian cockade mounted. Side of cap has silver metal kindjal mounted. Feint stamps to inside of cap. Good overall used condition. These caps are rare because most of the Russian volunteers were handed back to Russia at the end of the war where they were instantly killed.
