Third Reich German Army Raw Edge Combat Helmet – Item 104669

Third Reich non-decalled German Army black over painted M42 raw edge combat helmet. Complete with its original leather liner and chin strap. Rear skirt of helmet marked HK 064 and 4634. Chin strap marked 1940 so probably re-issued helmet. Black paint appears to be period done as there does not appear to show another colour. Possibly last ditch re-issued helmet to Volksturm units. Common practice at the end of the war. Good overall condition.
