Third Reich DAF Standard – Item 93080

Third Reich double sided DAF Standard. Area patch for Duisburg to one corner. Silver fringing to edges.  Black cog wheel swastika to centre. At one time would have had silver attachment rings for the pole which are now missing. However, a nice example of this Labour Corps Standard.

Note: Duisburg was a major logistical centre in the Ruhr Area and location of chemical, steel and iron industries, Duisburg was a primary target of Allied bombers for this reason.
