Third Reich Cross of Honour of the German Mother in Silver with Packet of Issue – Item 105167

Third Reich German Mothers Cross in silver (for 6-7 children). Complete with its long original blue and white ribbon. Excellent enamel with much original silver finish remaining to cross. Complete with its seldom found paper packet of issue.

Note:  The cross of honour of the German mother was instituted on 16.12.1938. It was made to be worn around the neck. It could only be awarded if both parents were of German blood. Presentations were made by the local Gauleiter on Mothers Day.
