Kingdom of Libya Order of Istiklal (Independence) Set Awarded to E V Evans Finance Minister Under King Idris the 1st, the cased set consists of silver gilt and enamels neck order with the original ribbon and silver gilt and enamel breast star badge. Both are housed in the original maroon leatherette case of issue with gilt tooled detail to the lid. Accompanied by the original bestowal document which is signed in red by King Idris the 1st of Libya. Also with typed letter of gratitude to King Idris by E V Evans from Tripoli in June 1966.
