British Pre War with German Connection Sports Awards – Item 101817

Interesting pre war sports collection awarded to D B Pell who took part in the International sports meetings in London in 1937 and 1938. Held between England and Germany. Consisting of presentation award marked Great Britain against Germany August 14th 1937 awarded to D B Pell. 4th place. Has Union Jack and Swastika flags. Complete with its wooden stand marked “Phillips silversmith Aldershot”. Matching award for 2nd place held in London in 1938. Plus 4 silver hallmarked cups with various dates all awarded to Pell for various race meetings. These meeting between England and Germany were cancelled with the outbreak of war.  scarce grouping to one competitor. All in nice condition.
