Interesting Afrika korps POWAi?? grouping. Consisting of award citation for the Afrika arm band awarded to Herbert D Rosdenk plus mint Afrika arm band, photograph of Rosdenk wearing tropical uniform and interestingly shown in photo wearing captured British sun helmet decorated to side with german paratrooper badge. Also his album compiled when he was a prisoner in Texas from 1943 onwards. Album shows photos of him in POW uniform. Various photos of camp productions and plays done during captivity. Photos of working on Texas farms, funerals etc.Ai?? An interesting POW grouping as many captured prisoners from North Africa campaign were sent to California and Texas to work on fruit farms etc and were well treated there during their captivity.
