British Shropshire Yeomanry Helmet and Uniform – Item 118396

Victorian period Shropshire Yeomanry Cavalry Officers Helmet. Excellent condition with much gilt finish remaining to helmet plate. Complete with nickel silvered shell in good condition. Tall spike with red and white horse hair plume. Link chin strap. Original silk and leather liner to inside. Overall a beautiful example of this scarce Officers helmet. Comes complete with its matching Officers blue uniform with red collars and cuff and red stripes to trousers. Heavy gold bullion shoulder straps  and gilt brass buttons with Victorian crowns and marked Shropshire Yeomanry Cavalry. A lovely full outfit.
