Scarce Third Reich Naval Combat Clasp. Awarded 19 November 1944 for service or valour. To qualify for the award it was necessary to perform 5 times the required for the award of basic War Badge. Crude examples are known to have been produced aboard the German ship Prince Eugen and were awarded after the award. It was for wear above the left breast pocket. Complete with hook and pin fixing.
