Third Reich Special issue Russian Front Luftwaffe Generals sheepskin ski cap. 1943 dated on tag to inside of cap. These heavy duty caps were produced for extreme cold weather on Russian front. Pull down flaps for ear protection. Gold piping to crown of cap and gold bullion eagle to front. White metal unknown tradition badge to side.  Some minor age wear to peak and some slight stitching loose from service wear. Overall a nice example of this scarce high ranking special issue cap.
