WWII 41st Royal Marine Commando BD – Item 113357

Scarce WWII 41st Royal Marine Commando battledress BD. Complete with all its original matching insignia. Marked to inside 50 Shilling Tailors and dated 1941. Size No 9. A nice untouched BD to a sergeant in the 41st Royal Marinc Commandos. Good condition with only a couple of minor moth nips to lower part and cuffs. A nice untouched BD.

Note:  4lst Royal Marine commando was a unit of the Royal Marines trained as commandos during WWII. They were part of the all Royal Marine 4th Special Service Brigade that took part in the Normandy Landings  in June 1944 and landed west of Sword Beach.
