WWI German Submarine Deutschland Artefact – Item 115016

Unusual WWI souvenir being a copper ash tray made from the German U Boat Deutschland which was broken up by Robert Smith & Sons, Birkenhead. They gave these ash trays as advertising pieces to their Executives. Measures 18 x 13cm. Embossed with  German U Boat Deutschland and marked around the edge “made from ex submarine Deutschland”. Good condition. An unusual memento from WWI.
