Waffen SS Handschar Division Field Grey Fez – Item 105967

Scarce and seldom found Third Reich Waffen SS Handschar Division field grey Fez. Complete with its original black tassel and machine stitched cap insignia of skull and SS eagle. Original leather sweatband to inside of Fez. Overall in good condition with only minor service wear. This was the field service issue worn for combat use by both German and Muslin troops.

Note:  The 13th Waffen Mountain Division of the SS Handschar (1st Croatian) was a mountain infantry division of the Waffen-SS, an armed branch of the German Nazi Party that served alongside but was never formally part of the Wehrmacht during World War II.
