Rare vehicle Pennant of Generalfeldmarschall Werner von Blomberg, Reichsminister of War and Commander-in-Chief of the German Armed Forces. Superb quality pennant finely chained stitched with large central swastika with alternative eagle and swastikas and irons crosses to each corner. Double sided. Comes complete with its original vehicle attachment pole. This is the second model flag introduced in 1935 specifically for Generalfeldmarschall Werner von Blomberg. Details of the flag and photos of it on his vehicle can be seen in the reference work “Uniforms and Traditions of the German Army 1939-45″ by Angolia & Schlicht. A one off opportunity to own a pennant to this high ranking figure in the creation of the German Army. Flag remains in excellent condition.
