Third Reich SS Police Captured Czechoslovakian Helmet – Item 94219

Rare captured Czech helmet, re-issued to Third Reich SS Police volunteer unit. Standard Czechoslovakian helmet over painted in German Army field green paint finish. 98% with just minor abrasions from combat use. 80% of Third Reich Police un bordered decal and 50% of Party decal. Complete with original liner and chin strap. Inside with issue stamps SDH. A scarce adapted helmet.

Note: When the Germans over ran Czechoslovakia large amounts of helmets and weapons were captured. They were then re-issued to SS foreign volunteer units who were employed in the capture of partisans and keeping control over the occupied population.
