Third Reich SS Oberfuhrer Collar Patches – Item 102608

Rare Third Reich SS Oberfuhrer Colonels collar patches. Black velvet patch with silver cord edging and silver wire oak leaves. A nice matched pair in excellent condition. 2nd version issued in April 1942 and worn until May 1945. Ex Dodkins collection. A scarce and seldom found set of collar insignia.

Note: The ranks of SS Oberfuhrer was the only SS rank with no Army equivalent. It was in reality a senior Standartenfuhrer (Colonel)
