Third Reich Presentation Book to Commemorate Mussolini’s State Visit – Item 94690

Rare Third Reich presentation book produced to commemorate the state visit by Benito Mussolini to Munich on 25.9.1937. These book were produced in small numbers as gifts to the high ranking Political figures and dignitaries that attended this meeting. The cover is deep red leather and has impressed gold leaf style eagle and swastika in the same style as the Knights Cross formal citations. Inside gold leaf lettering “Munchen die Hauptstadt der Bewegung Grusst Benito Mussolini”. The book is in Italian and German. Measures 19 x 22cm. Good overall condition with just one minor scuff mark to leather cover.
