Third Reich Paper Sand Bag – Item 98883

1944 dated Volkssturm heavy paper produced sand bag. Used for protection of government buildings etc during the defence of Berlin. Due to their construction very few have survived. This one with eagle and swastika to front and clear date 1944. These sacks were also used for the storage and carrying of food supplies.
