Third Reich National War Victims Association Cap – Item 106621

Interesting dark blue wool peaked cap of the National Socialists War Victims and Former Soldiers Association peaked cap. Dark wool cap in good condition with eagle and swastika and Iron cross to chest and cross swords cap badge to front. Lower embroidered cockade badge below. Decorated central band with alternative swastikas and monument. Complete with its leather chin strap. Blue silk lining with sweat diamond to crown showing only minor service wear. Excellent overall condition example.

Note: The Nazi Party organisation set up to help and assist in the welfare of victims of the first world war and for those members of the party that had suffered during the early period of fighting with the communists. The organisation was headed by the Reichskriegerfuhrer General of the Infantry and SS Gruppenfuhrer Reinhard with its honorary leader General of the Infantry Ritter von Epp.
