Third Reich German Army/Waffen SS Fighting Knife – Item 117825

Third Reich German Army slab sided boot/fighting knife. Plain steel blade. Black painted metal scabbard with single boot clip fitting retaining 90% of its original black paint finish. Good grips. These fighting knives were issued to German assault troops, Army, Luftwaffe and SS. They were cheap produced close combat fighting knife with single clip for easy attachment to jacket or boot. Hence their common name of Boot Knife as they were often attached to inside of jack boots.
