Third Reich DAF Gotha Factory Trumpet Banner – Item 116672

Rare Third Reich trumpet banner awarded by the DAF to the Gotha Aircraft Factory band. Banner decorated with silver fringing to three sides and chain stitched DAF emblem to centre.  Good condition. Reverse with name of Factory. An impressive banner to this Third Reich Aircraft production factory.

Note:  Gotha’s main contribution to the new Luftwaffe  was the Gotha Go 145 trainer,  of which 1,182 were built. The firm also produced the Gotha Go 242 assault glider. The factory was captured and looted by the Americans as the end of WWII.
