Third Reich Concentration Camp Political Prisoner Documents – Item 117648
Three Identity documents to A German concentration Camp survivor and Political Prisoner of the Nazis issued in the British Occupation Zone in the Hamburg Area in the immediate Post War.
The first is a bi-lingual photo Identity card in English and German to Emil Heyland a German Political Prisoner aged 51. from 1936-40 in a Concentration Camp and liberated from Fuhlsbüttel Prison by the British. Card issued 8.12.1946. Reverse shows details of imprisonment and prison number. Signed by the Committee.
The second card is a ration card of the Special Relief Committee Hamburg 23.3.1946 . He was given the ration scale for a Heavy Worker.
The Third document is a certification from “Hamburg Area Economics Chamber handwork/Artisan Office to Heyland as a former owner of an Electrical Engineers Business in Hamburg from June 1936-March 1937 and a member of the chamber until his imprisonment. Certificate issue 9 June 1945.
An interesting grouping.
