Third Reich Captured Russian Re-Issue Helmet – Item 100059

A scarce captured Russian 2nd Model Army Helmet. Original light green paint finish. Has been refurbished by the Germans for issue to the Berlin Defenders Volksturm. The helmet is the standard pattern Russian wartime combat helmet and has had a Berlin maker mark lining inserted and has its original Russian ersatz leather chinstrap. Front with winged Luftchtuze decal in good condition. A scarce captured helmet re-issued to Berlin defenders towards the end of the war. Ex my own collection.
