Scarce and unusual pattern Imperial German steel hilted fighting knife. Steel hilt with eagle top head with steel chequered grips and large upward turned cross guard. Plain single edge 15cm blade which has been period sharpened for combat use. Comes complete in its black steel scabbard with leather belt loop for attachment to belt. A nice overall example of this unusual WWI fighting knife.
