Excellent Battle of Britain period Luftwaffe private purchase peaked cap. Complete with original white leather sweatband.  Marked to inside dark blue lining “Verkaufsabteilung der Luftwaffe”. Complete with period sewn bullion silver wire insignia. Whole cap in nice battle crusher shape. As worn during the Battle of Britain by Luftwaffe Officers. Come with letter of authenticity from the original German dealer Detlev Niemann from the 1970s.
