British Union of Fascists Autographed Mosley Letter – Item 120945

Interesting historical letter signed by Sir Oswald Mosely from his residence in France, dated 6.4.1971 and sent to a Mr W F Avery at the Royal Hospital Chelsea. Good clear signature on Mosely headed paper.

Note: Captain William F. Avery was an officer, candidate, and county propaganda officer for South Hants and Southampton within the British Union of Fascists (BUF) led by Sir Oswald Mosley during the 1930s. Like party leader Sir Oswald Mosley and numerous other Blackshirts and British fascists, Avery and other members were subject to state action after the outbreak of World War II. Under Defence Regulation 18B.  This despite having served in WWI.
