Third Reich German Railways Train Engine Plaque – Item 118601

Rare Third Reich German Railways engine plate. Large cast aluminium plate marked “Deutsche Reichsbahn” with black finish to backing. Measures 59 cm in length x 10cm wide. These plates where worn on the side of the trains steam engine above the eagle and swastika. Rare and scarce to find. Similar example shown in Reichsbahn eagles of the Third Reich by Saris. Good condition for age. A scarce edition to any Railwayana collection.
