Third Reich Naval Officers Dagger with Rare Maker – Item 97732

Third Reich Naval Officers dagger. Veteran bring back example. Handle in good condition with original wire binding. Complete eagle and swastika top. Complete with correctly bound knot to handle.  Excellent blade retaining much original polish and sailing ships engraving. Rare Puma maker marked blade. Comes complete with lightening bolt scabbard in good condition. All original untouched screws to scabbard mounts.  This naval officers dagger was formerly the property of Norman Theodore Davies who served on HMS Hood and HMS Royal Oak. He was given this dagger by a German Naval Officer, Herbert Herrmann, that he had built up a friendship with post war.  He also featured on a  1989 TV program featuring the sinking of The Royal Oak. Naval daggers with this maker are scarce and hard to find.
