Contained in later gilt and wood frame. Excellent overall condition. Measures 65 x78 cm overall. Cannot find signature. An impressive painting.</h3>
<p>Note: Napoleon Bonaparte, later known by his regnal name Napoleon I, was Emperor of the French from 18 May 1804 until his first abdication in 1814, with a brief restoration during the Hundred Days in 1815.</p>

This particular fighting knife has been used at one time by an American serviceman who has engraved the handle &#8220;1918 Verdun &amp; France St Michiel&#8221;. Complete with correct pattern steel scabbard and belt hook fixing.</h3>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<h3>Scarce arm patch of the La Jeunesse Francaise circa 1940. Scarce bevo arm patch as worn by the French equivalent of the Hitler Youth. Complete with stud fixings to back for attaching to uniform. A scarce and seldom found piece of insignia. After victory in Europe membership of this organisation was ceased. Good condition and a uniform removed example.</h3>
<h3>Note: The <em data-sfc-cb="" data-processed="true">Chantiers de la jeunesse française</em> (CJF), or French Youth Camps, was a mandatory, paramilitary youth organization in Vichy France from 1940 to 1944. It focused on implementing the &#8220;Révolution nationale&#8221; through manual labour, physical training, and moral discipline, instilling values of obedience and loyalty to Marshal Pétain to regenerate French youth.</h3>
